Climb Hire is Nitzan's third social impact venture. She cares deeply about finding solutions for breaking the cycle of poverty through education and workforce development. Nitzan founded ReUp Education, an Entangled Ventures company in 2015 and served as its founding CEO. ReUp has brought back nearly 10,000 students to complete their college degrees since its inception. Nitzan also founded the New York region of Citizen Schools. Students in the program graduated from high school at a 20% higher rate than their peers. Nitzan raised nearly 15 million dollars and grew the organization to 100 staff members, serving thousands of students. Nitzan is currently an Aspen Institute Ascend Fellow. Early in her career she worked at the Department of Education in New York City, KIPP, and Teach for America. Nitzan holds a Masters in Public Administration from New
York University and a BA from Stern College for Women.
Mónica is multilingual education specialist with over a decade of experience in education management, curriculum design and classroom instruction. She is an advocate for the economic liberation of historically marginalized populations through education and political organizing. She holds a strong interest in heritage language preservation. Before joining Climb Hire, Mónica co-founded a Spanish immersion program as part of the venture-backed educational startup AltSchool, headquartered in San Francisco. Mónica completed her Masters in Linguistics from San Francisco State, where she was awarded a Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral Fellowship. She recently founded the design and educational consulting firm META Matters. META Matters designs environments, curriculum and e-learning experiences. They are currently developing Spanish language tools for families.
Chief Technology Officer
David has 13 years of experience using, configuring, developing, and architecting solutions using Salesforce. He was the first certified Salesforce consultant and one of the first 150 certified advanced developers in the world. He was also a member of the Salesforce MVP program in its inaugural year and is actively recognized for his contributions to the Salesforce community. David has worked at Salesforce as a Platform Solution Engineer, helping customers architect and design customized solutions. He is most proud of introducing Obama For America to Salesforce, leading to the game-changing use of Salesforce by President Obama’s reelection campaign. At Climb Hire, David works behind the scenes, building the technology platform. He also works closely with the program team to design real-world case-studies and hands-on projects so that students are prepared to do real life Salesforce Admin work when they complete the program. David holds degrees from Columbia University, where he was a Davis Scholar, and Northwestern University.
