Climb Hire's mission is to create economic opportunity for adults age 24-30 from disadvantaged communities. Most Climbers hold multiple jobs, work for minimum wage, and have taken some college classes without completing a four year degree. Climb Hire offers evening and weekend classes that teach both the hard and soft skills required for entry level tech roles. Through a blended model of online and in-person sessions, Climbers complete 200 hours of training in 18 weeks. Once Climbers secure a position that pays at least $45k, they contribute $150 per month for 48 months to pay the program costs for future participants.
